"....single plank of wood

Our experience Treetop Walking was phenomenal at Scenic Caves! We found it had the right amount of a risk element that gets your adrenaline pumping, but with the safety you would expect.  There are 16 different tree lines at Scenic Caves, with tree 8 being the highest at 50 feet. When you arrive at the bottom of tree number one the guides of Scenic Caves give you an explanation of what is expected of you on the lines and how to use the equipment in a safe manner.  You then use a buddy system around the trees to ensure there are no problems along the course and to make sure no one is left behind. You would think that walking on a single plank of wood attached to the trees at 50 ft would be dangerous, but we learnt that it can actually hold a great deal amount of weight.  Sometimes you can hear the planks creaking, but it made the experience seem risky and we felt a great deal of accomplishment once we got to the end. The tree walk is definitely an activity we would try again and see how quickly we could finish the course!
